All institutional 格兰特s and 奖学金 awards require the following:
Institutional 格兰特 awards require the following:
- 有效的FAFSA.
- A complete SPU financial aid file (all documents and requirements submitted and/or completed).
- Maintaining half-time enrollment (six or more credits per quarter for undergraduates)
Institutional 奖学金s require the following:
- Full-time status (12 or more SPU credits per quarter).
- Continuous enrollment in SPU credits. (If you have a break in enrollment, you will forfeit your 奖学金s unless you have received an exception from SFS prior to leaving SPU.)
Additionally, University policy states that the quarterly total of institutional awards (i.e., 格兰特s, 奖学金s, and tuition discounts) cannot exceed a student’s quarterly cost of tuition. If the total institutional aid for a quarter exceeds the quarterly cost of tuition, institutional aid will be reduced in this order: tuition discount, 格兰特, 奖学金.
Distinguished Scholars may receive institutional aid up to the cost of tuition and room and board as defined in the financial aid cost of attendance. 运动员, ASSP Scholarship recipients and resident advisors are covered under separate policies, which allow institutional aid to exceed tuition.
